13 January 2008 :: "Cape-based joint venture developers Pinnacle Point Holdings (PPH) and the Devmark Property Group (DPG) say the popularity of their retirement plots at the R1.2bn Wedgewood Golf and Country Estate in Port Elizabeth has led to 40 larger stands, initially earmarked for the Golf Village, being incorporated into the retirement component of the village."

November 2007 :: The new gatehouse is in the final stages; the roof is on, the electrics are being installed and the huge iron gates are in place. The little “security house” will be occupied shortly and manned on a 24 hour basis. The boundary wall surrounding the estate is also nearing completion and has given the whole development a sense of “establishment” in the community. It's all happening at Wedgewood!

May 2007 :: National property group Pinnacle Point Holdings (PPH), recently awarded international recognition for its flagship Mossel Bay golf course development, will begin construction of the R1,2bn Wedgewood Village Golf & Country Estate this month (May). PPH made golfing history when their Pinnacle Point Beach and Golf Resort in Mossel Bay was selected as one of the World's Top Ten Best New Courses for 2006. This is the first time a South African golf course has received this accolade.

Bay municipality gives R1,5-billion golf and retirement estate green light

13 October 2006 :: Nelson Mandela Bay municipality‘s housing and land committee has approved Wedgewood Village, a proposed R1,5-billion golf and country estate.
Construction of the new village is expected to begin early next year and it is planned that about 840 architecturally designed homes will be built.

Pinnacle Point Holdings Breathes New Life into Wedgewood

12 October 2006 :: An innovative joint venture between two of the country's leading property development companies will breathe new life into a decades-old Port Elizabeth golf course and introduce the village retirement and golfing estate concept to the area.
National property development group Pinnacle Point Holdings has acquired the Wedgewood Park golf course, an ecologically-crafted course originally designed by Bob Grimsdell in the 1940s. In line with a host of golf clubs throughout South Africa, it was suffering financially and the sale enables Pinnacle Point Holdings to significantly upgrade and expand the facilities.
